Flinta
(2025) AFKF01 20251Department of Architecture and Built Environment
- Abstract
- The Naturum "Flinta" explores the architectural potential of a decommissioned limestone
quarry in Malmö. Grounded in SDG 1.5, which focuses on resilience
and reduced vulnerability in relation to climate-related events, the proposal
investigates duality as a spatial concept. Two contrasting structures embody
the qualities found in the site’s geology: flint and porous limestone. Through
materiality, movement and light, the project aims to create an experiential
journey through strength and fragility.
