Sometimes the desire to change is not enough; the conditions need to be right for the change to be stable, complete and lifelong. The individual does the work themselves. With them, they have Krami. Against them, they face stigma and a criminal record that prevents them from taking any jobs. Many employers are influenced by the political narrative conveyed by the media. A perspective with stricter attitudes towards criminal elements that have given the police and the prison system more opportunities to control and punish lawbreakers. At the same time, crime has become increasingly serious and younger. Fifteen year olds will soon be able to be sentenced to long prison terms for crimes that could have been prevented if authorities and society had taken greater responsibility. This study aims to describe and analyze the statements of the participants and the employees at Krami. The ethnological bachelor's thesis aims to look at how a social context is experienced with a focus on words such as identity, culture, belonging, stigma, lines, typifications, deviant and normal.
