- Abstract
- This thesis explores the concept of reuse during prehistory in relation to megalithic tombs, using three passage graves in Södervidinge, Skåne, as a case study. Using a landscape theoretical framework and a phenomenological perspective, the study analyses the spatial relationships between the graves, their relationship to the surrounding landscape, and the experience of the place. The results show that the megalithic graves should not be understood as isolated monuments, but as parts of a coherent place shaped by social, ritual, and landscape-related practices. The megaliths and a prehistoric lake are interpreted as having
