- Denna autoetnografiska studie i textformat undersöker hur reumatoid artrit kan förändra en
musikers övningspraktik, tekniska arbete och förståelse av konstnärlig utveckling.
Bakgrunden är mitt eget insjuknande under pågående musikutbildning, vilket påverkade
möjligheten till kontinuerligt instrumentalutövande. Studien genomförs genom en analys av
tre perioder i mitt arbete med Dittersdorfs kontrabaskonsert: under min tid på gymnasiet,
folkhögskola och min nuvarande kandidatutbildning. Materialet består av egna reflektioner,
anteckningar, notmaterial och erfarenheter från övning och framförande. Resultatet visar en
tydlig förskjutning från ett intuitivt och resultatorienterat arbetssätt till en mer strukturerad,
