An Intelligent Surveillance System
(2005) Swedish System-on-Chip Conference (SSoCC'05)- Abstract
- This paper presents the outline, goal, achievements,and work in progress of the hardware image processing projectat the Digital-ASIC group at Lund institute of technology (LTH).The project attempts to automate a surveillance system for indoormonitoring. This includes motion segmentation, image filtering,feature extraction, tracking, and classification. Hardware accel-erators for segmentation and filtering have been implementedand a software simulation environment has been developed.
