- Title: Care of the voice ? one part of the choir singing? The choir conductors work with children's and youths' individual voices within the choir. The purpose of this study was to examine how four different choir conductors work with children's and youths' individual voices during choir rehearsal. Further aims of this essay are to shed light upon relevant research within the topic. I used a qualitative method of researching observations with low structure and structured interviews. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur fyra olika körpedagoger arbetar med barn och ungdomars sångröster individuellt under körrepetitionerna. Vidare syftar arbetet till att belysa relevant forskning inom området. Jag använde mig av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod med strukturerade observationer och strukturerade intervjuer. Jag observerade en körpedagog som arbetar med musikklasser åk 4-9 i grundskolan och intervjuade tre körpedagoger som arbetar och har arbetat med barn- och ungdomskörer. Resultatet visar att det är viktigt att skapa medvetenhet bland körpedagoger om hur sammanlänkad röstvård och körsång är och att arbete med sångteknik för varje individ leder fram till en gemensam musikalisk upplevelse för kören.
