In what way is the child involved and visible in the Family Group Conference? How does the coordinator work to make the child involved in the Family Group Conference? To pursue this study we have used a qualitative method. Literature was searched and eleven persons were interviewed. The interviewed persons were both professionals and a family, who had participated in a Family Group Conference. The result show that interviewed persons were mainly positive about the Family Group Conference but they also saw problems with the model. It can be difficult to get the child actively involved and tell its own opinion in a Family Group Conference. (Less)
