Literature and research in the field was also forming a base for my paper. My conclusion was that the experience of the biological children depended on various factors such as how old they were at the time the foster child came, the age of the foster child in relation to the biological children and the foster child's ability to interact within the family. It seems as if the persons interviewed had a good attachment and stabile relationships with their parents. This and the fact that they were in on the decision to take on foster children might been a contributing factor to them forming a relationship to some of the foster children. (Less)
