- I wanted to find out if the changed values of equality in society also have changed the way girls in the age of eighteen think and act when it comes to love, relations and sex. My questions where about if they feel that society effects their behaviour, the importance of love when they have sexual relations, the acceptance of girls that have temporary sexual relations and their definitions of love and sex. I also looked on other researches to compare the girls answers with. To get in touch with the girls I contacted different schools in Lund and through them I got to meet nine girls that I had conversations with on three different occasions. - I wanted to find out if the changed values of equality in society also have changed the way girls in the age of eighteen think and act when it comes to love, relations and sex. My questions where about if they feel that society effects their behaviour, the importance of love when they have sexual relations, the acceptance of girls that have temporary sexual relations and their definitions of love and sex. My conclusion was that on the level of how they think about these questions there is a change of thougths and values. On the other hand their actual behaviour haven´t changed. They believe it´s important to be in love with the one they have sex with, even if they think it´s okey that other girls have sex without love. They also said that girls that have temporary sex are accepted, as long as they don´t have it too often. When we talked about their definitions of love they all agreed on that love can be many things in different situations, but that love is an important part of life. When it comes to sex the definition is intercourse and nothingelse. I could also see that their answers were similar to the once in other researches. (Less)
