Samverkan mellan lärare och skolkurator : vad händer ur ett professionsteoretiskt perspektiv

Abstract
The aim of this paper is to study what happens, from a professional theoretical perspective, when pedagogical and psychosocial work processes act together around high school students. The keywords are teachers, school welfare officers, cooperation, pedagogical work, psychosocial work, network cooperation and staff teamwork. Four teachers and four school welfare officers were interviewed at four different schools in Malmö and in the county of Kronoberg. The paper describes the concepts preserves, status and discretion, from a professional theoretical point of view. The conclusions of this paper are: - That there are no signs that teachers or school welfare officers have professional claims that create problems when it comes to cooperation regarding students. - That teachers and school welfare officers saw the concepts preserve, status and discretion like they knew the other part's area of responsibility, each other's part in the organisation, and that they respected each other's work tasks. - That it was important that the schools had documents that clearly stated which responsibilities were the teachers' and which responsibilities were the school welfare officers'.
