- Immigrants that wants to come to Sweden and don´t have any visas, residence permit or passports and are not cooperative will be placed by the Swedish authorities at "förvaret". The purpose of this essay was to investigate "förvaret" in perspective of human rights and legal security. The questions at issue, which are connected to the purpose are: Are there any connections between legal security and human rights and if so, in which way? Is the public control of "förvaret" satisfying? What is the purpose with "förvaret" and how is the work organised? Who is placed at "förvaret" and which law regulates the decisions? - Immigrants that wants to come to Sweden and don´t have any visas, residence permit or passports and are not cooperative will be placed by the Swedish authorities at "förvaret". The purpose of this essay was to investigate "förvaret" in perspective of human rights and legal security. The questions at issue, which are connected to the purpose are: Are there any connections between legal security and human rights and if so, in which way? Is the public control of "förvaret" satisfying? What is the purpose with "förvaret" and how is the work organised? Who is placed at "förvaret" and which law regulates the decisions? Voluntary organisations are visiting "förvaret". Is it important and what purpose does it fulfill? The method consisted of four qualitative interviews with people that in some way are connected to "förvaret". The interviews were primary and the literature were secondary data. My conclusions are that legal security are affected by different issues, such as the law, economy and practical problems. Some of the decisions are not satisfying in a legal security perspective. Further more legal security is connected to human rights and different freedomconceptions. The visitingoperations that the voluntary organisations make are an additional part in the legal security. It is also important in question of public control and serves as support for the immigrants. (Less)
