Our findings show that traditional colonial experiences such as representations, mimicry and hybridity are not exclusive for one side. We argue that the traditional power relations are challenged and our findings therefore add to, problematize and challenge much of current postcolonial literature. We argue that Postcolonial scholars must recognize that the world is not so easily defined, but rather heterogeneous and should therefore modify its approach to modern times. (Less)
