Abstract
Problem Description:
Tetra Pak wants a robotics grouping solution which is flexible and can handle rapid change with short time to reach performance after pattern or model changes. The solution should also be very robust and has the ability for quick adaptation.
Tetra Pak has limited experience about robotics and the company is not going to develop the robotics. Instead Tetra Pak wanted to collaborate with existing large and well known companies and use their technology

Methodology:
Existing robotics technology has been scouted on fairs, events, articles, the internet and through interviews. The robotics solutions have been developed through meetings and discussions together with robotics companies. The data and test performance... (More)

Methodology:
Existing robotics technology has been scouted on fairs, events, articles, the internet and through interviews. The robotics solutions have been developed through meetings and discussions together with robotics companies. The data and test performance has been recorded from simulations and real tests.

Results:
This work proves that it is possible to create a flexible and robust robotics solution that can group packages in the desired pattern.

Conclusion:
Using robotics to group Tetra Pak packages has several of benefits that can help Tetra Pak to strengthen their position as world leader package producer. Therefore, I recommend Tetra Pak to invest more time and money in the development of robotics solution. (Less)
