Abstract
Irregular and undocumented migrants often live under harsh conditions, and their rights have been subject to a lot of debates in Sweden the last couple of years. This essay aims to interpret the political language concerning irregular and undocumented migrants using a WPR method and a governmentality-perspective. The theoretical framework I have constructed for the purpose of this study mainly concerns perspectives that relate to social justice theory. The empirical study looks at the period from year 2000 to 2010. The main purpose is to uncover on what grounds and with which assumptions that certain types of politics are formulated.
