A Wider Security Approach Helps the Understanding of a Case Study

- Abstract
- Since 2006 when the Drug War in Mexico started around 30,000 people have lost their lives. The Mexican state has several security issues that threatened the state on all three pillars. The violence and the vast corruption of the Mexican government and its institutions are the two mayor concerns.
The goal of the study is to see if a five sector wide scope, can be applied on a single case study. This study aims to help the development and understanding of security studies. It also aims to get a better understanding of the security situation of the Mexican state.
