Researching Research - Assessing focus groups as a tool for designing quantitative online surveys suitable for a specific target group
(2009)Department of Business Administration
- Abstract
- This research tests two different focus groups with the purpose of developing quantitative online surveys suitable for a specific target group. Depending on where in the development process of the survey the researcher is, somewhat different focus groups should be used. If the researcher is far into the development of the survey a focus group with the questionnaire template as discussion basis could be used. However, if the researcher is in the beginning of the development a focus group without a questionnaire template as discussion basis could be used in order to generate new creative ideas.
