We also asked the interviewees about their thoughts about the future and what is perceived to be most valuable in life. The collected material from the interviews has been transcribed word by word and then coded in the above mentioned themes. All themes have thereafter been analyzed through different perspectives such as social psychology, social relations, and salutogenesis. The result from the research indicates that all covered themes are significant in some way when an individual is trying to end a drug addiction, however in different ways for every interviewee. Nonetheless some themes have been more distinctive than others and those are occupation, housing, relations, and characteristics. (Less)
