- Abstract
- The paper examines how Malmo and the surrounding areas have been affected by the Oresund Bridge. Employment is the measure of economic activity that has been used including employment in private and public sectors. Our hypothesis is that the Oresund Bridge's impact on employment in the municipalities close to the bridge should be bigger than the impact on the remaining municipalities in Scania. Comparing the private and public sector, the hypothesis is that the private sector should be more responsive or market-driven and therefore be more affected of an infrastructure investment.
