- Abstract
- Background: Along the rapid economic growth and social change in China a more liberal attitude towards pre-marital sex has emerged Aim: To examine how nurses in urban China view young unmarried women’s knowledge, information need as well as the nurses’ desires for quality improvement within sexual and reproductive health. Results: One overall theme appeared, “A shy search for information”. Main categories within the overall theme were defined as “Information and knowledge about sexual and reproductive health”, “Available channels in sexual and reproductive health issues” and “Desires for quality improvement within sexual and reproductive health”.
