(2012) FEKH95 20121Department of Business Administration
- Abstract (Swedish)
(More)

(Less)
- Abstract
- The purpose of this thesis is to examine consumer’s reasoning about online shopping to increase the understanding of what is important when it comes to trusting a webstore. A qualitative study has been conducted using a hermeneutic approach. The approach is deductive with inductive elements. Raw data is based on semistructured interviews. Secondary data is mainly taken from scientific papers. The thesis’ theoretical framework deals with basic theories of trust and loyalty within e-commerce, and the circumstances which may have an impact on them. The empirical material is based on 15 semi structured interviews with female respondents within the age range of 20-50 years. In conclusion, the reasoning about what creates trust online is... (More)

In conclusion, the reasoning about what creates trust online is different from what creates trust in the physical trade and also between consumers. There are a number of different topics that can create e-trust, such as website design, brands, social presence, service and payment method. These can also lead to e-loyalty in the form of repeat visits and purchases. (Less)
