- Abstract
- The report presents testresults from a research project conceming
fatigue of reinforced normal and high strength concrete beams (0.3 x 0.4 x 6.0 m). The beams were designed to have the san1e flexural and shear capacity at a point 1.5 m from the support. Two beams of each sort were tested statically to failure, and four beams of each sort were tested with a fatigue load. The fatigue load varied between 55 and 80 per cent of the static failure load. High load an1plitude resulted in shear failure and low load amplitude in flexural failure. The results from the tests indicates a slightly lower fatigue strenght, in terms of the static failure load, for high strength concrete campared to normal concrete. (Swedish)
