- Abstract
- In this report a study is made of a sandwich wall especially produced for agricultural buildings. The wall contains two concrete slabs, one for the façade and one on the inside with insulation between them. The concrete slabs are joined together by lattice girders. The inner slab has a thicker cross section in it’s ends and less insulation, the girders also has a smaller distance between them. The report contains a study of the interaction between the two concrete slabs in the thicker part of the inner concrete slab to see if there is a possibility to use some of the bearing capacity from the façade.
It’s also investigated which depth is required for the lattice girders to get the fracture in the girder instead of in the concrete.

It’s also investigated which depth is required for the lattice girders to get the fracture in the girder instead of in the concrete.
The result from the study shows that there is limited interaction between the concrete slabs. Because of the deficiency of interaction the calculation model of the wall will be made for just one bearing slab, the one on the inside. That means that all the forces from the roof will be taken by the inner slab. (Less)
