Hydrogeologisk kartering av Hultan, Sjöbo kommun

Under våren 2013 har en hydrogeologisk kartering gjorts av grundvattenmagasinet Hultan i Sjöbo kommun, södra Skåne. Projektet har utförts på uppdrag av Sveriges geologiska undersökning som en del i arbetet med ett av Sveriges miljömål; Grundvatten av god kvalitet. Undersökningen har innefattat brunnsinventering av enskilda brunnar i området, provtagning och analys av grundvattnet i två mätpunkter, borrning, flödesmätning i några av ytvattnen i området samt studie av jordartskartan, topografiska kartan och tidigare rapporter från området.

I den västra halvan av området visar resultaten två flödesriktningar. I väster är flödesriktningen västerut mot Vombsjön och i söder är flödesriktningen söderut mot Björkaån. Flöde har detekterats mellan grundvattenmagasinet Hultan och Björkaån samt mellan Vombsjön och grundvattenmagasinet. En vattendelare har lokaliserats utifrån topografi i områdets mitt. Vattendelaren har en nordväst-sydostlig riktning som i öst böjer av mot söder. Vattenkvaliteten är enligt SLVFS 2001:30 (SLV 2011) tjänligt med anmärkning med avseende på turbiditet, oxiderbarhet, färg och järn. Magasinets tillrinningsområde har avgränsats utefter topografi samt jordarter till ett område som omfattar totalt 9,8 km2. Till största delen är tillrinningsområdet beläget i Torpbäckens avrinningsområde. (Less)

The project is an assignment from Geological Survey of Sweden as a part of the work with one of Sweden´s environmental quality objectives; Groundwater of good quality. The study has included inventory of private wells in the area, a collection of samples and analysis thereof of the groundwater in two wells, drilling and seepage flux measurements in some of the surface waters in the area. The study also included examination of geological maps of soils and bedrock as well as topographic map and various reports from the area.

The study has included inventory of private wells in the area, a collection of samples and analysis thereof of the groundwater in two wells, drilling and seepage flux measurements in some of the surface waters in the area. The study also included examination of geological maps of soils and bedrock as well as topographic map and various reports from the area.
The results show groundwater flow towards the stream Björkaån in the south and towards west and the Lake Vombsjön in the western part of the area. Flow has been detected between the groundwater and the stream Björkaån and between Lake Vombsjön and the groundwater. From the topography in the area, a water divide was found in the center. The water divide has a northwest- southeast direction and in the east it bends towards south. The groundwater quality is according to SLVFS 2001:30 (SLV 2001) good enough as drinking water with remarks concerning turbidity, oxidizability, color and iron. The groundwater catchment was defined by topographic and soilmaps to an total area of 9.8 km2. The catchment is to a large extent situated in the stream Torpbäcken catchment area. (Less)
