This is a qualitative, discourse analysis of police interviews with children who have been assaulted by a related. The aim with the study was to investigate how the interviews are conducted by the children investigators within the Police. The result indicates similarities on the methods of the interviews and that there exists a norm of how children’s interviews should be conducted. Any clear differences on the interviewing methods by the children investigators can not be identified but the responses and stories are more detailed in ages 12 and 14. (Less)
