Eichhorst, Johanna LU and Stöhr, Samuel LU (2014) ENTN39 20141
Department of Business Administration
Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to identify barriers to innovation faced by firms delivering healthcare services and to analyse their effects on healthcare service firms' innovation process. This thesis therefore aims to close a gap in literature. Insights gained can help policy-makers understand how their actions impede innovation in the healthcare industry
and how they can remove or reduce specific barriers in order to stimulate innovation. For companies, this thesis can help them to remove or overcome barriers more successfully.
