- Abstract
- The study aimed to examine whether a work time reduction from eight to six hours a day affects equality. Household equality has been operationalized into being responsible for housework tasks. The empirical data for the paper is from a previous study by the National Institute for Working Life which this essay has been given permission to use. Two questions were asked and answered:
Would a work time reduction lead to increased male participation in housework?
Would a work time reduction lead to increased female participation in housework?

- Studiens syfte var att undersöka om en arbetstidsförkortning från åtta till sex timmar per dag har en påverkan på graden av jämställdhet inom hushåll. Hushållets jämställdhet har operationaliserats till ansvarstagande av uppgifter i hushållsarbete.
