The material consists mainly of public documents related to the planning process. The analysis shows that Gothenburg has ambitions to create a more just city to lessen segregation. This applies especially for the studied area Frihamnen since this area will include housing for groups with limited resources. However, the analysis also shows that the vision in its entirety stresses the importance for the city to enhance economic growth. Or in other words, equity is not prioritized to the necessary extent for the urban renewal project to be called just. (Less)
