- Den här studien syftar till att ge en tydlig bild av El Sistema i Malmö genom att belysa de uppfattningar och erfarenheter som finns bland lärarna som arbetar där. El Sistema kan sägas sträva efter en dubbel målsättning – dels en social, dels en konstnärlig. I den här studien undersöks lärarnas upplevelser av att arbeta efter dessa. För mig som musiklärarstudent är det relevant att få en bild av vad lärarprofessionen kan innefatta. Det finns också ett behov av att undersöka arbetet med El Sistema i Sverige då det fortfarande är en relativt nyetablerad verksamhet här.
Som insamlingsmetod av data har kvalitativa intervjuer använts, i vilka lärare på El Sistema i Malmö har varit informanter. Resultatet visar att det finns ett behov av dialog... Detta för att lärare inte ska uppleva press och oro kring otydliga uppdrag eller förväntningar. Resultatet visar också att El Sistema på vissa sätt skiljer sig från andra musikverksamheter - dels i organisation och målformuleringar, men också i undervisningssituationen. Detta för med sig att lärarprofessionen för en El Sistema-lärare i viss bemärkelse ser annorlunda ut jämfört med en lärare vid till exempel kulturskolan. (Less) - Abstract

This is because teachers should not have to work through pressure and worry because of unclear missions or expectations. The results also show that El Sistema in some ways differs from other music schools or projects - both by organization and definitions of aims, but also in the education. This leads to an in some ways different teaching profession for a teacher of El Sistema as compared to a teacher at for example the Municipal School of Arts in Sweden. (Less)
