(2015) FEKH69 20142Department of Business Administration
- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze how to control organizations in which an idea is above profit, by examining the importance of culture and motivation. The study is based on a qualitative approach, where semi-structured interviews were conducted. The new empirical material was then analyzed and tested against established theories. The case study concludes that it is difficult to completely implement traditional management tools due to its focus on profit. The result shows that increased focus on profit may compromise company culture and employee motivation. Management tools within the social service nonprofit organization sector must therefore be adapted.
