Abstract
This bachelor thesis project was carried out at Schneider Electric in
Helsingborg, where the objective was to use an old robot with three
linear axes. The engines were replaced and control cabinets with their
latest products were built together to work and to become a complete
unit. The complete unit was mounted on a cage which will be used by
Schneider Electric for marketing. The Project is based on a product that
Schneider Electric sells to simplify the construction of control cabinets
to its customers.
The robot should be able to perform tasks both in automatic mode
and in manual mode. The automatic movement consists of a pick-and-
drop function while manual operation allows the user to control the
