- Abstract
- The object of this essay is to analyze how the great male renunciation have influenced men’s fashion wear, as well as the way men express their interest in fashion. This was achieved by studying the dandy as phenomenon in relation to the contemporary male fashion blogger. Analytical methods such as semiotic analysis has been applied, as well as a qualitative text analysis inspired by discourse analysis.
