Hur presenteras en sjuksköterska egentligen?

- Abstract
- This study is based on the gender gap in the swedish nursing programs which gives a direct effect of the gender gap at the workplaces. This study examines how universities use their websites along side with communication and identification methods to make their student body more gender-equal in traditionally genderd occupations. If they do, does it have an impact on the actual student body? Four out of the five examined universities have a policy saying they want to decrease the gap between female and male students. The results are based on a qualitative text analysis and a semiotic analysis of the websites’ use of pictures. The results show that there does not seem to be a connection between the websites designs and the gender of the... (More)

Further studies are to be made to determine the actual cause and solution of the gender-gap in the nursing programs and profession. (Less)
- Abstract (Swedish)
Resultaten... (More)

(Less)
