Subspace Based Identification for Adaptive Control
(2003) In MSc ThesesDepartment of Automatic Control
- Abstract
- This thesis describes the results of an investigation into the use of Subspace-based System Identification techniques in the field of Adaptive Control. The project aims included adaption of subspace algorithms for online use, proposal of new algorithms of adaptive control based on these algorithms, and analysis of properties of the proposed systems. The thesis includes reviews of various subspace algorithms used in the investigation, as well as a brief review of cur-rent adaptive control algorithms. A direct adaptive control algorithm based on a combination of subspace methods and model predictive control techniques, as well as an indirect algorithm combining an implemented online subspace identification algorithm and a model predictive...
