Our results indicates that the responsibility regarding unaccompanied minors in the welfare state was diffuced defiened which led to the different operators not knowing exactly what their own responsibility was. The different operators often said that they took a lot of responsibility regarding the unaccompanied minors and that the other operators failed to live up to their responsibility. We also found that the different operators saw flaws regarding the emotional care and the knowledge about unaccompanied minors. Our operators also said that unaccompanied minors seeking asylum were often treated as a very homogenous group instead of a heterogenous group with individuals. Furthermore, we also noticed that, because of the diffuce definition of responsibility, the different operators had trouble cooperating and finding ways to do so. Lastly, we found that voluntary organisations thought that they took a larger responsibility regarding unaccompanied but many of the public operators didn’t agree with this. (Less)
