Abstract
Pavements on bus stops is a complex subject because of the different forces that occur. Cement Stabilized asphalt is therefore used on the bus stops and has been so for about 16 years in Malmö to combine the best qualities of cement and asphalt which is bearing capacity and flexibility. In 2014 a formula was developed to calculate the breakdown of the pavement of bus stops by two students at Lunds Tekniska Högskola. This report has now been evaluated on the basis of six different types of damages. The comparison is based on a damage survey of the current situation at the bus stops compared to a calculation of the current situation according to the formula. The result focuses on degree of damage and residual based on the input factors. The... (More)

The comparison is based on a damage survey of the current situation at the bus stops compared to a calculation of the current situation according to the formula. The result focuses on degree of damage and residual based on the input factors. The results produced have revealed both similarities and differences between the survey and the calculated outcome. It has been shown that the various damages that occur on a pavement of cement stabilized asphalt can occur for various reasons and have a unique connection to the input factors. The conclusion of the report shows that the formula has potential, but needs further development as it has some obvious defects. (Less)
