Abstract
This paper examines the changes in communication about migration policy for Sweden's three largest political parties; Moderaterna, Socialdemokraterna and Sverigedemokraterna. The purpose whit this essay is to find out if the communication of Moderaterna and Socialdemokraterna has become more similar to the communication of Sverigedemokraterna regarding migration policy. I have examined posts from the twitter accounts of all the three parties and used framing theory to find out what problems the parties highlight during the period April to May in 2015 and then during the same period in 2017 and what solutions are proposed. I use, among other theories, mid voter theorem by Anthony Downs in order to explain why these changes has taken place... (More)

Based on the material from the twitter accounts, I have used an idea analysis together with the theory of framing written by Adam Shehata. (Less)
