- The aim of the study is to evaluate how the Swedish Government has been acting in the case of the Moroccan child migrants. With the background that the Swedish government has been accused for violating several articles of human rights in the empirical case, the study aims to understand if one could justify the Swedish government’s acting or not. Investigating moral dilemmas in human rights and state obligations to act under international agreements, the study describes an empirical situation where the children from Morocco are the victims in a situation between several social and judicial systems. The result of the study is highlighted through the paradox that Sweden seems to emphasize the importance of international collaboration in migration politics, while they also argue from a strong opinion about the specific state responsibility. The government is not acting in contrary to the highlighted conventions, but to justify their political acting is neither right since several articles of human rights seems forgotten while the government struggles with accountability and a weak recognition of its own responsibility.
