The entrepreneurial city and the Right to the city approach, as developed by David Harvey, is used to analyze the planning tools that Växjö has in regards to Araby. This leads to the conclusion that the effect of densification and mixed cities weakens the processes they sought to strengthen. The good intentions that Växjö municipality has for Araby is probably in reality empty words. (Less)
