- The focal quest of this research is to find whether the repression of trade unions is the proximate cause of inability to improve conditions of work in RMG sector of Bangladesh. This research goes deep with several corresponding quests on inquiring about the international obligation of Bangladesh to protect trade union, the scope of international legal system that offered its advice, trade union’s influence to ensure compliance, the current status of working conditions and existing legal challenges and finally to find the ways to improve existing status by understanding the unique features of this particular sector in Bangladesh.
