Media trust is a lot higher among the surveyed students than in the general population. Despite this, the students also suggest that journalists’ political views influence their reporting and that the news media doesn’t provide a fair reflection of society which challenges the objectivity ideal that has reigned supreme in Swedish media for a long time and provides an interesting starting point for future research.
