The result shows that at the national level the focus is mainly on compact and mixed cities as well as promoting active travel and public transport. Also, urban design that enhance random encounter should be of priority when shaping public spaces. The same is true at the municipal level. Additionally, when planning for urban development at the municipal level, effective land use and the uniqueness of each location can be used advantageously. General ideas of building for sustainable communities and LCC is present at all levels. The result also shows four empirical driven findings, experience of built environment, discernibility, flexibility and active facades. (Less)
