Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of family ownership, the CEO's role, and the chairman's position on ESG decoupling in Swedish firms during the years 2016-2022. The study aims to provide insights into the complexities of ESG decoupling within family-owned companies and contribute to the understanding of sustainability efforts in these specific ownership structures.
