- In this paper a generalized transition matrix method is utilized to analyze the equivalent model for antenna element.The characteristics of antenna element can be extracted from the internal complex structure of the antenna element to an external reference surface through generalized transition matrix and mapping vectors.The generalized transition matrix module contains three parts:a generalized transition matrix,a mapping vector and a specified reference surface.Generalized transition matrix is used to associate the tangential component of the incident field with the scattered field on the reference surface.Mapping vector is used to map the excitation source to the reference surface.This method reduces the unknown number to improve the...
