Global description of nuclear properties at high angular momentum - properties of upsloping orbitals
(1996) In Acta Physica Polonica B 27(1-2). p.33-43- Abstract
For nuclei with only a few particles outside closed shells, rotational bands might be formed in configurations with holes in the core. Common properties of bands of this kind with hole(s) in the high-j shells, f7/2 g9/2 and h11/2 are discussed and specific examples are compared with experiment. At superdeformation it is suggested that an approximate decoupling factor for the π[301 1/2] and ν[411 1/2] orbitals can be extracted from existing data.
