Abstract

The studies of structural, optical and luminescent properties of undoped Gd3AlxGa5-xO12 (x = 0,1,2,3) and Gd2YAl2Ga3O12 mixed crystals were carried out. Mixed crystals composition and lattice parameters were determined using EDX and XRD techniques. The distribution of cations between sites with different symmetry was obtained using Rietveld method. The spectral dependence of refraction coefficients was determined using the multiangle spectrophotometry method and Cauchy equation.
