- From knight's spur to wooden shoe:
A critical review of Axel Bolvig's "Kirkekunstens storhedstid" (The golden age of church art, Copenhagen 1992). The transition in architecture and art from the Romanesque to the Gothic cannot be reduced to the question of who was erecting and visiting the churches.
