'Traceology' then and now

Olausson, Deborah LU (2005) In European Journal of Archaeology 8(3). p.295-297
Abstract
A review essay of two recent publications: L. Longo and N. Skakun (eds) "The Roots of Use-Wear Analysis: Selected Papers of S.A. Semenov" and "'Prehistoric Technology' 40 Years Later: Functional Studies and the Russian Legacy". These volumes were published upon the occasion of an international congress entitled 'Prehistoric Technology' 40 Years Later: Functional Studies and the Russian Legacy. The present state of edge-wear research, as it can be ascertained from these abstracts, is discussed.
