Interjections as viewed by Latin grammarians

Sauciuc, Gabriela-Alina LU (2004) In Revue Roumaine de Linguistique-Romanian Review of Linguistics XLIX(1-4). p.87-111
Abstract
This article is an overview of the various aspects characterizing the interjection - probably the most controversial linguistic unit in the history of grammatical tradition and modern linguistics - as Latin grammarians outlined them, especially in the postclassical and late antiquity. The corpus employed for the purposes of this study is Henricus Keil's Grammatici Latini, a most valuable and unique collection of survived fragments from ancient grammars written in Latin.
