- Invited talk on Henning Mankell at 127 Confer Hall, Gustavus Adolphus College, Saint Peter, Minnesota, US 23rd of April 2014. Swedish film scholar Olof Hedling of Lund University (currently a Fulbright Hildeman Fellow at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) will present a lecture on the Swedish best-selling crime fiction writer Henning Mankell (created of the Kurt Wallander series), recent filmic adaptations, and the bourgeoning "crime fiction tourism" in small-town Ystad in Sweden's southernmost province of Skåne, the site of Mankell's hugely popular crime stories.
