3D-skrivarnas möjligheter och begränsningar : Riktlinjer och idéer för pedagogiskt material för elever med synnedsättningar
(2016)- Abstract
- Pedagogical material for children with visual impairment is often created by hand and in very small series. Although there are a lot of opportunities and there are more and more applications of how to use 3D printers in society, it's unusual that they are used systematically to create tactile material for school pupils that have a visual impairment.
This report presents in a comprehensive way how the 3D printing technique works and how to create custom 3D models. In addition, some guidelines for educational material are presented and what you may need to think about when putting braille markings on models. The report concludes with some practical examples of educational materials developed using 3D printers.
